The Terminal Tower observation deck will be open at night

I'm looking forward to scoping out the holiday lights from the 42nd floor of one of the most iconic structures in Cleveland. Living here my entire life, I'm a bit surprised that I've never made my way up there before.

You can look forward to seeing a handful of festive prints available in the store.

You can purchase tickets using the following url:

Fun Facts:

  1. - Closed since the 9/11 terrorist attacks, only reopening a few years ago, the deck offers visitors a 30-mile view spanning downtown, the Flats, Lake Erie, the Cuyahoga River and suburbs.
  2. - Second-tallest building in the world when completed in 1930.
  3. - Tallest building in North America outside New York until surpassed by Boston's Prudential Tower in 1964.
  4. - 1,400 buildings on 35 acres were razed to make way for the Cleveland Union Terminal project whose tower was originally designed as a 14-storey structure with a 5-storey cupola.
  5. - The tower only once went dark, during the Northeast Blackout of 2003.
